Biography

Playing in their current line-up since the beginning of 2005, Pharmacon has come a long way. Coming from an area with little opportunities to play live, they’ve been driving all around the country to play shows from day one. Over the years Pharmacon made it their goal to play their grooving metalcore on stage as intense and energetic as possible. In January 2006 the band completed their first demo in the current line up, called ‘Cries of Suffering’.

Pharmacon has shared the stage with bands of (inter)national stature: metalbands like After Forever, Orphanage and Detonation, but also hardcorebands like Maypole, Backfire! and 37 Stabwoundz. A big venue or a small pub stage, it doesn’t matter, Pharmacon will set it on fire!

Although the band just recently released their demo, they’re not taking it easy. They’re still out there playing their guts out and songs for the new record are already in the making, filled with even more energy than before. One thing is certain: Pharmacon is out for more!
