Biography

Misantropical is a metal band from Zutphen (NL), founded in 2002 by vocalist Michel Coppens, with the meaning of having fun with friends and play some tunes. After almost two years, Michel left the band because of problems, irritations and fights within the band.The band played on under a different name, and Michel started a whole new band. With him he had his close friend and guitar-player Alex, who also was in the original Misantropical.

After a quick search the right musicians were found, and the noise could start again, better and louder then ever.After more than 2 years, both the drummer Lars and guitar-player Vaal left the band shortly after eachother, decided to quit metal and play punk/punk-rock.

A new drummer was found fast, and played much better than the old one. Ironically his name was Lars as well. The decision was made not to look for a second guitar-player (at least not for a while), and adjust the riffs so that a second guitar got obsolete.

Now they are faster, harder and better than ever before!
